    JONES
  
    Robert D. Jones Sr., 55, of Friedens died Feb. 10, 1994, at Conemaugh
  hospital, Johnstown.  Born June 25, 1938, in Somerset Township.  Son of
  Charles E. and Jessie (Albright) Jones.  Preceded in death by parents and
  brothers, David, James and Lloyd.  Survived by his wife of 32 years, the
  former Connie Knopsnyder; son, Robert Jr., at home; daughter, Kelly of
  Friedens, and grandson, Brett.  He was the brother of Charles Jr. of San
  Diego, Calif.; William of Enon Valley; Mrs. William (Ruth) Sturtz of
  Stoystown RD 2; Mrs. Donald (Betty) Smith and Ronald, Junior, and Donald,
  all of Friedens; and Mrs. Douglas (Dorothy) Bell of Somerset.  A member of
  the Jenner Rod and Gun Club and UMWA.  Family will receive friends from 7
  to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral
  Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, the Rev.
  James R. Ling officiating.  Interment, Friedens Lutheran Cemetery.
