    JONES
  
    Verna Barbara Jones, 92, 351 Shade Hollow Road, Grantsville, Md., died
  March 15, 1999, at Meyersdale Medical Center.  Born Nov. 27, 1906, at
  Grantsville, Md., daughter of the late Wilson E. and Lydia (Wisseman)
  Miller.  Preceded in death by husband, Albert H. Jones, on Oct. 2, 1971;
  son, Robert Jones, 4 brothers, 1 sister and 2 grandsons.  Survived by
  daughters, Marilyn "Mollie" Crowe and husband, Vernon, Winter Haven, Fla.;
  brother, Ivan E. Miller, Grantsville; sisters, Melba Farrell, Randallstown,
  Md., Wilma Younkin and Virginia Mahaffey, both of Confluence; 10 grandsons,
  7 great-grandsons; 6 granddaughters; 2 nephews and 2 nieces.  She was a
  homemaker and a member of the Springs Mennonite Church, Springs.  Friends
  received from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Wednesday, at the
  Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., Grantsville.  Service will be conducted at 2
  p.m., Thursday, at the Springs Mennonite Church.  Rev. Steven Heatwole
  officiating.  The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to the
  service.  Interment will be in the Grantsville Cemetery.  Mrs. Jones'
  grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers.  Contributions may
  be directed in her memory to the Springs Mennonite Church.
