    WILLIAM S. JONES
  
    William Scott Jones, 85, of RD 1, Buffalo Mills, died August 25, 1983 at
  Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
    He was born in Johnstown July 19, 1898, and was a son of the late
  Winfield Scott Jones and Grace (Wilson) Jones.
    He had formerly resided in Silver Spring, Md.  He was a retired salesman
  for the Shaw-Walker Corporation of Washington, D.C.
    Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Georgia Kate (Benning) Jones; three sons,
  William W. Jones, Silver Springs, Maryland; the Rev. Dr. Robert T. Jones,
  Fairfax, Va.; John K. Jones, Lanham,  Maryland; one daughter, Mrs. Margaret
  E. Donaldson, with who he and Mrs. Jones have been residing for the past
  three years; 14 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home where
  services were conducted at the funeral home with his son, the Rev. Dr.
  Jones, officiating.  Interment will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, Somerset
  County.
