Born Aug. 28, 1926, in Franklin Borough. Son of Charles and Geraldine (Jaber) Joseph. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Helen (Liszczak) Joseph; daughter, Geraldine Marie Joseph; and son, William Gerard Joseph. Survived by children: Theresa Ann, married to Stephen Mitnik of Johnstown, Karen D. Joseph of Pittsburgh, Norman P.B., married to Susan (France) of Johnstown, Mary Frances Joseph of Pittsburgh and David Brian, Duncansville; grandchildren: Stephanie Marie Lewark, Frank Nicholas Joseph, Isaac William and Simon Philip Joseph; sisters-in-law, Theresa Liszczak, Johnstown and Mary Horwath, Detroit, Mich.; brother and sisters, Edward, married to Brenda Joseph, Somerset, Dawn Louise Hagins, California, Dolores Hawkins, Indiana, and Sandra Ruth Joseph, Johnstown; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a loving and devoted father and grandfather. A graduate of Franklin High School. Retired from State Department of Revenue, having served as administrator of the Johnstown District Office. Previously employed by State Auditor General, State Department of Labor & Industry, Pennsylvania State Workmen's Insurance Fund, City of Johnstown and Cambria County. Lifetime member of St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church and choir member. Friends received from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd., where Trisagion Prayers will be sung at 7 p.m., Wednesday and 11 a.m. Thursday, followed by funeral services at St. Mary Antiochian Church. The Very Rev. Father Donald E. Shadid. Interment, Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Mary Antiochian Church, to be used for liturgical projects.
