Jubick, 76, Windber, died Aug. 6, 1998, at Regional Hospice at Windber. Born July 21, 1922, in Windber, son of the late George and Katherine Jubick. Also preceded in death by brothers Joseph and Walter. Survived by wife, former Cecelia Ann Olenik; son Ron J., married to the former Lorraine Latuch, Somerset; grandchildren: Chad, Dallas, Texas, and Benjamin and Jessica, Somerset. Brother of Frank Slonka and wife Mary, Johnstown. U.S. Army veteran of World War II, 16th Inf. Big Red I. 1984 retiree of Bethlehem Steel Corp., Johnstown. Member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Windber; Holy Name Society; Windber American Legion Post 137, St. Casimir Club, Johnstown; Old Timers Baseball Assoc., and USWA. The family will receive friends from 2-9 p.m. Friday at the Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber, where wake services will be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Windber. Entombment, St. Anthony of Padua Mausoleum, Windber. Military graveside rite by Windber VFW.
