He was born July 19, 1927, a son of the late Albert B. and Margaret (Albright) Judy. Also preceded in death by sisters: Charlotte, Emaline, Regina, and Ivadene. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, the former Elizabeth Brant; and these children: Albert D. Jr., and his wife Sherri, Selinsgrove; Craig T., and his wife Bernadette, Pittsburgh; and Vonda K., wife of Danny Shultz, Garrett; grandchildren: Matthew, Jeremiah and moriah Judy, and Dillon and Colton Shultz. Also survived by a sister, Wilma, wife of Guy Cook, Garrett; and brother-in-law, Norval Hoover, Garrett. Al retired as vice president and loan from Somerset Trust Company with 38 years of dedicated service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII; graduate of Meyersdale Area High School in 1945, and from Catherman's Business School, Cumberland, MD. He loved golfing, hunting, horses, and spending time outdoors. He was a member of Garrett United Methodist Church. Al will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his family and friends. Friends were received at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday with the Rev. Joseph Onder, and the Rev. Marlin Miller officiating.
