W. Judy, died at her home in Garrett this (Thursday) morning at six o'clock following a lingering illness. Mrs. Judy was born in Pennsylvania, January 17, 1874, a daughter of Israel and Carolyn (Ringler) Keefer, and was aged 66 years, one month and a day at the time of her death. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Judy is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Luther Klink, of Wellsburg, W.Va.; Mrs. ? Weimer of Garrett; and Miss Ella Stevanus, at home; five sons, Harry L. Stevanus, of Meyersdale; William Stevanus, of Seanor; Randolph Stevanus, of Jerome; Truman and Lester Stevanus, of Garrett; three step-sons, William and Earl Judy of Rockwood, and Charles Judy of Casselman; four sisters: Mrs. Anna Colbin of Dayton, Ohio; Mrs. Julia Close of Wellsburg, W.Va.; Mrs. Mary Hoff of Salisbury; and Mrs. Elizabeth Berger of Casselman; and a brother, James Keefer, of Barberton, Ohio. Her first husband, Frank Stevanus, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock on Sunday afternoon in the Garrett Lutheran Church in charge of the pastor, Rev. C. I. Rowe. Interment will be made in the St. Paul Cemetery under the direction of W. C. Price and Son, local morticians. Meyersdale Republican, January 25, 1940
