    MARY ELIZABETH JUDY
  
    Mary Elizabeth Judy, 59, of East Patriot Street, Somerset, died July 6,
  1978, in the Somerset Community Hospital.
    Born Sept. 24, 1918, in Meyersdale, she was a daughter of Richard and
  Elizabeth (Mervine) Lynch.
    She is survived by her husband, Arthur B; and two daughters; Ruth
  Elizabeth, wife of John E. Weimer of Atlanta, Ga.; and Alexis Judy, wife of
  John S. Matthews of Ellwood City; also two brother; Michael R. Lynch of
  State College and James A. Foley of Somerset.
    She was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church in Somerset; a
  graduate of the Germantown School of Nursing in Philadelphia; served as a
  lieutenant in the Navy Nurse Corps during World War II; and was a member of
  the Somerset Samuel S. Crouse Post 181.  American Legion.  There was no
  viewing.
    Friends were received in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where a
  Wake Service was conducted July 7.  Funeral Mass was held July 9 at the St.
  Peter's Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Harold Biller
  officiating.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.
