C., died March 8, 2002, at the home. Born May 1, 1909, a daughter of the late Walter H. Judy and Kathryn O'Cock Judy. She is preceded in death by brothers, Walter N., Arthur B., Ellwyn E., Glenn K., Jack C., and Robert R.; and by sisters Sara K., Evelyn L., and Ruth D. She is survived by sister Mary Jane Gross of Somerset, and brother James R. of Brookfield, Ohio. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She served in the Woman's Army Corps from 1945 to 1965. Ms. Judy was a life-long member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Somerset; Order of Eastern Star of Athens, Ga.; and was an active participant in many charities related to homeless and abused woman. A memorial service is planned at the chapel of USSAH in Washington on April 4, Chaplain George Timberlake presiding. Interment will follow at Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be sent to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 918 Tayman Avenue, Somerset, PA or to the Woman in Military Service for America Memorial, Dept. 560, Washington, D.C. 20042-0568.
