Born in Rockwood, W.Va. Nov. 6, 1918, he was a WWII Army veteran, a former tavern owner and retired road construction superintendent in the Cleveland, Ohio area. He worked at the Daily American and Indian Lake Lodge in Stoystown, also employed by the Somerset Township Supervisors prior to moving to Arizona in 1978. A member of the Beachdale Church of the Brethren, Berlin, the Glendale Church of the Bretheran in Ariz., A. A. R. P. Ch. # 1 Host Lion Club of Sun City, and Recreation Centers of Sun City. Survived by wife Esther, 11014 Elk Ave., Sun City, Ariz. 85351; stepdaughters, Toma Lloyd, Lakewood, Ohio and Belinda Dangerfiled, Columbia, Md.; stepsons, Dennis Wimer, Roanoke, Va, Blaine Wimer, Vinton, Va., and Dean Wimer, Sun City; brothers, William Jurca, Pawhatown, Va., John Jurca Jr., Parma, Ohio; sisters, Margarete O'blak, Mesa, Ariz. And Ruth Johnston, Cleveland, Ohio; several step-brothers and sisters in the Pa. area, and seven grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, John Jurca Sr. and Stella Jurca, two brothers, Robert Jurca and Joseph Jurca. Burial was June 13, 1988 in he Garden of Valor at Sunland Memorial Park, Sun City, Ariz.
