Born Aug. 17, 1914, in Accident, she was a daughter of the late William George Gustav and Ida (Glass) Fratz. She was preceded in death by one brother, Glen Fratz and two sisters, Verna Mae Frazee and Lenora Fratz, an infant. Surviving are her husband of 67 years, Frederick W. Kahl, whom she married Dec. 31, 1935; one son, Carl W. Kahl and wife Rita (Keslar), Somerset; one sister, Rosalie Frazee, Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville. Mrs. Kahl was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church (LCMS), Accident and the Ladies Aid of the church. She was a 1933 graduate of Accident High School and was a homemaker. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, Md. A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Zion Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dr. Wilfred Karsten officiating. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service.
