Pleasant RD 2. Born June 10, 1897, at Salt Lick Township, Fayette County, son of late Irvin and Priscilla (Miller) Kalp. Resident of Acme for 77 years. Retired farmer and carpenter. Member of Mt. Calvary United Methodist Church. Survived by son, Morrison D. (Red), Champion RD 1; two daughters, Mrs. Blanche Little, Acme; and Mrs. Beatrice Glowacki, with whom he resided; also brother, Morrison, Jones Mills; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by wife, Olive M. (Brown) Kalp, who died in 1974; sister, Mrs. Ida Glaus and following brothers: Lavan, Andrew Payne, Harmon, Alonzo, John, Frank, Issac, Homer, and Domer; also two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. today (Monday) and from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Clyde Brooks Funeral Home, Route 711, at Melcroft, where service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, the Rev.
