  KALP
  
  Gertrude Kalp, 96, of Melcroft died Aug. 31, 1995, at her home.  Born Nov.
  24, 1898, in Saltlick Twp., Fayette County, daughter of the late Amos and
  Anna Tinkey Critchfield.  A lifelong resident of the Melcroft area and a
  member of the Calvary United Methodist Church, Acme, RD 1.  Survived by a
  daughter, Mrs. William (Ida) Ritenour of Melcroft; 8 grandchildren, 24
  great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild and 2 sisters, Mrs. Irene
  Phillippi of Virginia and Mrs. Blanche Compton of Riviera Beach, Fla.  In
  addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Harman Kalp,
  in 1965; a grandson, Scott M. Ritenour, in 1984, and a great grandson,
  Jeffrey Lee Ritenour Jr., in 1984; also several brothers and sisters. 
  Friends received from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at
  Clyde Brooks Funeral Home Inc., Route 711 Melcroft.  A funeral service will
  be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home, with the Rev. Gale D.
  Boocks officiating.  Interment, Calvary Cemetery, Saltlick Twp.
