Kalp, 72, of Champion RD 1 passed away Nov. 16, 2001 at her residence. Born June 24, 1929 in Middlecreek Twp. Daughter of the late Foster and Ada (Pritts) Klink. Preceded in death by her husband Morrison "Red" Kalp in 1989, brothers, Harry, Ruben, and Perry Klink and sister Ellie Geary. Survived by daughters Barbara, married to James Yost of Champion RD 1, and Kathy, married to James Laxton of Jones Mills; grandchildren Jimmy, Jason, and Laura Lee Yost; great-grandchildren J.J. Yost and Mattylyn Rebecca Yost; and sisters Marie Nedrow of Rockwood and Gladys Keslar of Donegal. She was a member of the Somerset Church of the Brethren and the Kingwood Rebekah Lodge. Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Somerset Church of the Brethren, Revs. Mark Bendes, Roger Forry, and Kenneth Davis officiating. Interment Tinkey Cemetery, Champion. Memorial Contributions may be sent to In Touch Hospice at 1590 N. Center Ave. Somerset or the American Diabetes Foundation. The Rebekahs will have a memorial service at 7:30 p.m., Sunday.
