Kaltenbaugh, 50, of Stoystown RD 1, died unexpectedly on Aug. 22, 1972, at home. Born on March 6, 1922, in Tire Hill, a daughter of Daniel and Albina Covitch. Preceded in death by parents, an infant son, Clark, and a sister, Mrs. Sarah Starvis. Survived by her husband, Clark R., and these children: Mary Frances, wife of Andrew Hollan, Johnstown RD 3; Patricia, wife of Richard Hanes, Boswell RD 1; Carol, wife of Joseph D. Caola, Boswell; JoAnn, William, Betsy, and Daniel, all, at home. Also, four grandchildren. She was a sister of Mrs. Mary Rizzo, New York City; Mrs. Helen Tisack, Ebensburg; and Mrs. Josephine Hannigan, Bethlem, Pa. Member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Boswell, treasurer and past-president of the Church Altar Society, and PTA president of Forbes Campus, North Star School District. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday (today) and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Joseph H. Hoffman Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny St., Boswell, where rosary will be recited at 8:15 p.m. Thursday. Mass of the resurrection will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Boswell, with the Rev. Samuel Tomaselli officiating. Interment, Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
