He was born in Poland, July 7, 1870. He was a retired miner, having worked for many years at Shaw Mines. He lived at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Victor DiFibo, Meyersdale. He is survived by four sons - John, Pleasantville, N.J.; Bernard J. and Theodore, Pittsburgh, and Walter, in Colorado, and two daughters, Mrs. Howard Langdon and Mrs. Joseph J. Matvey, Pittsburgh. His wife, Catherine Barbara, died in 1918. Friends were received at the Price Funeral Home until Thursday morning, when services were held in SS. James and Philip Catholic Church at 9:30 by Father Bechtold. Interment was made in the church cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, April 28, 1949
