Kaminski, 87, of 611 Main Street, Boswell, died July 1, 2001, at Siemon Lakeview Manor Estates. Born April 9, 1914, in Boswell, son of Joseph and Agnes Kaminski. Preceded in death by parents, brothers Bruno, John and Joseph, and sisters Sister M. Justine, Josephine Steggert, Victoria Ostrowski and Louise Green. Survived by wife of 50 years, the former Helen L. Peterson; daughter Janet Kaminski, Philadelphia; son Edward, Boswell RD; grandson Eric Sidone; and sisters Sister Mary Aquinas, St. Joseph's Villa, Reading, and Pauline Canzler, Pittsburgh. Lifetime member of All Saints Catholic Parish and church choir for approximately 50 years. Also charter member of Boswell Post #461 American Legion. Army veteran of World War II and recipient of The Bronze Star. Retired mechanic for former Dorfman & Hoffman Garment Factories. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where All Saints Choir will recite Rosary at 7 p.m. Monday followed by vigil for the deceased.
