Born Dec. 6, 1915, in Amsterdam, N.Y. Son of Thomas and Agnes Kaminsky. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, John and Tony; sisters, Sophia Fleegle and Helen Leone; grandson, Robert Scott Tirko. Survived by his wife of 56 years, the former Evelyn Harmon, and these children: Mrs. Art (Patti) Parent, Buena Park, Calif.; Mrs. Robert (Vickie) Tirko, Mrs. Mark (Rose) Yonai and Mrs. Ray (Dolores) Lambert, all of Wilbur; Mrs. Mike (Helen) Zborovancik, Stoystown; Mrs. Albert (Kathleen) Stankan of Thomas Mills; Fred, married to the former Donna Brandon, of Johnstown; Rick, married to the former Joyce Pugh, Charleston, S.C., and David, at home; 22 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Brother of Frank Kaminsky of Wilbur and Katherine Fleegle of Somerset; numerous nieces and nephews. Retired coal miner and member of the UMWA. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, with Revs. William Blair and Samuel Weible officiating. Interment, Otterbein Cemetery, Wilbur. Memorial contributions may be given to Otterbein United Methodist Church Building Fund, Wilbur Road, Stoystown, Pa. 15563.
