Kamp, 82, a former member of the Grantsville Town Council, died November 26 at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland. Born at The Cove, he was a son of the late Lewis and Cora Alice (Speicher) Kamp. Mr. Kamp had served as water commissioner, was a member of the Grantsville Cemetery Committee and a retired employe of Kelly-Springfield Tire Company. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ and had served on the church consistory. Surviving are his widow, Thelma (Warnick) Kamp; two sons, Otis and Donald Kamp, Avilton, Md.; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Spence, Meyersdale, Mrs. Shirley Bender, Grantsville; a brother, Robert Kamp, Scott City, Kansas; a sister, Mrs. Emma Otto, Grantsville; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services were held November 28 at Newman Funeral Home with Rev. Douglas Garland officiating. Interment, Trinity United Church of Christ Cemetery, New Germany.
