KAMP Louvina Victoria Kamp, 70, of RD 1, Lonaconing, Md. died Wednesday March 18, 1987, at her residence. Born in Avilton, Md., on Dec. 18, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Almeda (Garlitz) Broadwater. She was a homemaker and one of the first volunteers in the hospice unit at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Grantsville, Md., Christian Mothers, and the Grantsville Firemen's Auxiliary. Surviving are her husband, Otis Kamp; four sons, Gale Kamp and Steve Kamp, both of Avilton Md.; Gary Kamp and Keith Kamp both of Grantsville, Md.; two daughters Mrs. Marlene Ross, Cumberland, Md. and Mrs. Maxine Erskine, Virginia Beach, Va.; five sisters, Mrs. Mary Warnick, Moscow; Mrs. Mae Durst, Indio, Calif.; Mrs. Jean Rand, Desert Shores, Calif.; Mrs. Wilda Loraditch, Hemett, Calif., and Mrs. Louise Bailey, Upper Marlboro, 22 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Ann's Catholic Church, with Father William Moody officiating. Interment, St. Ann's Cemetery, Avilton. Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, Md. was in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Tom Fitzpatrick, John Ross, Greg Kamp, Perry Kamp, Galen Kamp and Mervin Kamp. Honorary pallbearers were Brian Kamp, Kelly Kamp, Joe Ross, Jeff Ross, Craig Kamp, Darren Kamp and Ryan Folk. The Republic, March 26, 1987 [K0062]
