Kamp, 80, died February 18, 1979 in Lions Manor Nursing Home, Cumberland, Md. Born in New Germany, Md., she was a daughter of the late Louis Warnick and Ida (Barncord) Warnick. Her husband, Austin R. Kamp, preceded her in death. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ land the Women's Guild of the church. Surviving are two sons, Otis Kamp and Donald Kamp, both of Lonaconing, Md., RD 1; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Spence, Meyersdale, Mrs. Shirley Bender, Grantsville, Md.; a brother, William Warnick, Grantsville RD 2; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Friends were received. at the Newman Funeral Home where services were conducted with the Rev. Douglas Garland officiating. Interment, Trinity United Church of Christ Cemetery, New Germany. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of memorials to St. John's Church or to the Northern Garrett County Rescue Squad. The Republic, February 22, 1979 [K0066]
