  EMMA KARCHER
  
    Emma (Stone) Karcher, 82, of Meyersdale RD 4, died Dec. 12, 1979, in
  Donegal.  She was born June 16, 1897, in Sand Patch, a daughter of the late
  Benjamin and Christina (Deist) Stone.  She was preceded in death by four
  brothers, five sisters and is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
    She was a storekeeper in Sand Patch 40 years and was a former assistant
  postmistress in Sand Patch.
    Friends were received at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where
  services were conducted with the Rev. Lloyd Trout.  Interment, White Oak
  Cemetery.
