  Fred A. Karla, 67, Boswell RD 2, died unexpectedly June 2, 1986, at home. 
  Born March 26, 1919, in Jenners, son of Adam and Marie (Laskowski) Karla. 
  Preceded in death by parents; wife, the former Myrtle L. (Rhodes), who died
  April 30, 1986; brothers, Henry, Robert, and Edward.  Survived by daughters,
  Diane, wife of Clarence Zerfoss; and Dixie, both of Boswell RD 2; grandsons,
  Gene and Cliff Zerfoss.  Brother of Irene, wife of John Leiss, Geneva, N.Y.;
  Mildred, wife of Frank Kramarsyck, Rochester, N.Y.; Dorothy, wife of Donald
  Lankey, Jenners.  Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, 2-4 p.m.
  and 7-9 p.m Wednesday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where
  services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. William Dodson. 
  Interment, Beam Cemetery.
