  MRS. ANDREW KAUFFMAN
  
    Mrs. Mabel A. Kauffman, 85, Springs, died Saturday, July 29, in
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.
    Born in New Centerville, Dec. 26, 1881, she was a daughter of Hugh and
  Elizabeth (Stevanus) Denison.
    Mrs. Kauffman was twice married.  Her first husband, Edward Maust,
  preceded her in death in 1921, and Andrew Kauffman in 1944.  She was a
  member of Springs Mennonite Church.
    Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Melda Otto and Mrs. Verda Yoder,
  Springs, and Mrs. Marian Mowrey, Denver, Pa.; one step-daughter, Mrs.
  Martha Keim, Martinsburg; also eight grandchildren, nine
  great-grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
    She was a sister of Ray Denison, Hubbard, Ohio; Jay Denison, Bradenton,
  Fla., Mrs. Pearl Camp and Mrs. Ivy Fishburn, both of Somerset.
    Funeral service was held on Tuesday morning at Springs Mennonite Church
  with Revs. Walter Otto and James Burkholder officiating.  Interment was
  made in Springs Cemetery, under the direction of Thomas Funeral Home,
  Salisbury.
