  KAUFMAN
  
  Alpha E. Kaufman, 70, of South Rosina Ave., Somerset, died May 15, 1996, at
  Somerset Hospital.  Born Feb. 3, 1926, in Milford Township.  Daughter of the
  late Ross D. and Daisy (Snyder) Enos.  Preceded in death by brother Paul,
  sister Blanche, and infant sister Marie.  Survived by her husband, E.
  Charles, and three sons: George B. and Herbert R., both of Somerset, and E.
  Charles Jr., married to the former Michele Noll of Lebanon, and two
  granddaughters, Laura and Shannon.  Also survived by a brother, Earnest S.
  Enos, married to the former Peggy Pritts, of Stoystown.  She was a devoted
  wife and mother and was active until her health limited her functions.  She
  was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset, and various ladies
  organizations, including Bycota Circle.  She was a former part-time
  employee of J.J. Newberry, Somerset.  In past years she participated in
  local, county and state Pomona Grange.  Former member of Order of Eastern
  Star, Trinity Chapter, Somerset.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and
  7 to 9 p.m. today (Friday) in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home.  Funeral
  service at 1 p.m. Saturday in Trinity Lutheran Church, Pastor Robert L.
  Hoover Jr. officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.  In lieu
  of flowers, memorials may be given to the Student Aid Fund of Trinity
  Lutheran Church.
