  KAUFMAN
  
  Grace E. Kaufman, 82, of Boswell RD 2, died March 19, 1993, at home.  Born
  Oct. 10, 1910, in Conemaugh Township, daughter of John M. and Elizabeth
  (Shaffer) Kaufman.  Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Luella Berkey
  and Erina Miltenberger, and brothers, Leon W. the Rev. Ralph E. and Rev.
  Martin L. Sister of Mary Knesche, Katie Hoffman, Erma May, Hazel Mishler,
  Mildred Liska, John H. married to Marjorie Lantz, and James W., married to
  Lillian Binnie, all of Boswell RD 2; Daisy Kocher, Johnstown, and Harry F.,
  married to Yvonne Heckler, Lakewood, N.J.  Also numerous nieces and
  nephews.  Member of the Jennerstown United Methodist Church where she was
  an officer, choir director and Sunday school teacher for many years.  Also
  a member of N.E.A. and P.S.E.A.  Graduate of Duke University.  Retired
  teacher for Conemaugh Township Area High School, Davidsville, and also
  taught in Jenner Township with a total of 41 years of service.  Friends
  will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and noon until 4 p.m. and 7 to 9
  p.m. Sunday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell.  Viewing
  also from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Monday at the Jennerstown
  U.M. Church, Rev. John R. Guerre officiating.  Interment, Jenner Crossroads
  Cemetery.  Memorials to American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
