  KAUFMAN
  
  Mary S. Kaufman, 84, of 200 Charles St., Hooversville, died Dec. 16, 1993,
  at home.  Born Dec. 9, 1909, in Quemahoning Township.  Daughter of Hiram J.
  and Cora (Glessner) Koontz.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Wesley;
  brothers: Frank, Donald, Charles, Ernest and Kenneth Koontz; sisters:
  Myrtle Boyts and Dottie Naugle.  Survived by son, Richard E., married to
  the former Audrey Ashbrook of Elderton; grandchildren, Richard Mark of
  Lancaster and Leslie Sue Easier of Allison Park.  Five great-grandchildren
  and numerous nieces and nephews.  Member of Hooversville Church of the
  Brethren and the Hooversville VFW Auxiliary.  Family will receive friends
  from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Hooversville.  Viewing from
  10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hooversville Church of the
  Brethren, the Rev. Charles W. Crouse officiating.  Interment, Kaufman
  Cemetery, Davidsville.  Memorial contributions may be given to Hooversville
  Church of the Brethren or the Church of the Brethren Home, Windber.
