  Bertha Irene Keafer, 87, of Willow Hill, Pa. died Nov. 3, 1993, at the
  Caledonia Manor Nursing Home, Fayetteville.  Born Jan. 24, 1906, in Bens
  Creek, Somerset County, daughter of the late Robert and Minnie (Grasser)
  Spory.  Preceded in death by husband, Clayton H. Keafer, on Sept. 3,
  1992.  Also preceded in death by four brothers - Ray, Newton, Frank and
  Robert Spory.  Survived by these children: Mrs. John T. (Ann) Williams,
  Gainesville, Ga.; Mrs. Guy E. (Cora) Beabes, Somerset RD 2; Henry R.
  Keafer, Somerset RD 3; Paul R. Keafer, Willow Hill, and Mrs. Robert (Mabel)
  Morrell, Nashville, Tenn.; also 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren. 
  Sister of Mrs. Gertrude Shaffer, Ligonier, Mrs. Edith DiBartola, State of
  California; Paul Spory, Robinson, and Ralph Spory, New Florence.  Member of
  the Upper Path Valley Presbyterian Church at Spring Run.  Friends received
  from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home.  Graveside
  services and interment at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Casebeer Cemetery, with
  Rev. Marlin Neil officiating.
