  KEAFER
  
  Henry Robert Keafer, 65, of Somerset died April 20, 1997, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Nov. 13, 1931, in Johnstown.  Son of the late Clayton Henry
  and Bertha Irene (Spory) Keafer.  Also preceded in death by a sister, Ann
  Williams.  Survived by wife, the former Shirley M. Shaffer, to whom he was
  married 40 years, and these children: Mrs. Steve (Ira) Rea of Plantation,
  Fla.; Mrs. Gerald (Ann) Oortman and Miss Julia Ann Keafer, both of
  Marietta, Ga.; 4 grandchildren: Alexandra Linden, Nicholas Rea, Molly Rea
  and Carrie Oortman.  Brother of Mrs. Guy E. (Cora) Beabes of Somerset RD 2;
  Paul R. Keafer of Willow Hill; Mrs. Robert (Mabel) Morrell of Davie, Fla. 
  Member of Bethany United Methodist Church and Teamsters Local 429,
  Steubenville, Ohio.  Army veteran of Korean War.  1949 graduate of Somerset
  High School.  Retired truck driver for Jones Motor Freight and was a driver
  for J&L Truck Bodies.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Tuesday at
  the Hauger Zeigler Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 1 p.m.
  Wednesday, with the Rev. Barry K. Ritenour officiating.  Interment, Berkey
  Cemetery, Paint Township.  Contributions may be made to Pediatrics Ward,
  Somerset Hospital, 222 S. Center Ave., Somerset, Pa. 15501.
