  KEEFER
  
  Alverda Alice Keefer, 94, of 131 Gay St., Salisbury, died Wednesday, Dec.
  21, 1994, at Meyersdale Medical Center.  Born July 23, 1900, at Glencoe,
  she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Elizabeth (Saylor) Smith.  She
  was also preceded in death by her husband, Howard Z. Keefer, Aug. 15, 1962;
  a son, Paul, and 2 infant sons.  Survivors include a son, Donald Keefer,
  Salisbury; a daughter, Lorene Hall, Pocahontas; a brother, Irving Smith,
  Glencoe; 6 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 7
  great-great-grandchildren.  Member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Lutheran
  Church Women, Meyersdale Medical Center Auxiliary.  Friends will be
  received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Newman Funeral Home, Inc.,
  Salisbury, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, with the Rev.
  David E. Fetter officiating.  Interment, Salisbury Cemetery.  Expressions of
  sympathy may be directed to St. John's Lutheran Church, Salisbury.
