  CARRIE KEEFER
  
    Carrie (Swearman) Keefer, 86, of Berlin, died October 4, 1982, in
  Somerset Community Hospital.
    She was born May 25, 1896 in Allegheny Township.  She was a daughter of
  the late Daniel and Caroline (Brant) Keefer.  She was preceded in death by
  her first husband Forrest Swearman, her second husband Henry Keefer and a
  daughter Esther Testa.  She is survived by five daughters Mrs. Evelyn Rice,
  of Kennet Square; Mrs. Estelle Neel, of West Grove; Mrs. Ruth Brill, of
  Poland, Ohio; Mrs. Doris Fogle, of Berlin; a step-son Edward Keefer, of
  Pittsburgh; eleven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and one
  great-great-granddaughter.
    She was a sister of Mrs. Mary Baer, of Meyersdale; Nellie Rayman, of
  Detroit, Michigan and Gerturde McIntyre, Somerset.  She was a member of the
  Amity United Church of Christ; the War Mothers; Golden Age Club; The
  Appalachian Wagon train; Berlin Senior Citizens; the Berlin Fire Department
  Auxiliary.
    Friends were received 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Price
  Funeral Home.  Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday with the Rev.
  Lloyd Sechriest officiating.  Interment Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.  In
  lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Berlin Senior Citizens.
