  MERLE KEEFER
  
    Merle L. Keefer, 54, of Frostburg, Md., died Sunday, Jan. 16, 1994 at
  Frostburg Hospital.
    Born June 15, 1939 in Salisbury, he was the son of Nettie (Durst) Keefer
  of Meyersdale Manor and the late Lewis Keefer.
    Mr. Keefer was a former employee of the Kaiser Refractories and was
  employed by Z&M Motor Lines in Cumberland.
    In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, C. Arzona
  (Garlitz) Keefer; one son, Jeffrey Keefer, Frederick, Md.; one daughter,
  Kimberly A. Broadwater, Grantsville; one sister, Louise Edgar, Salisbury;
  and several nieces and nephews.
    Friends were received at Durst Funeral Home, Frostburg, where funeral
  services were conducted Jan. 18 with Msgr. John L. Reinsfelder
  officiating.  Interment, Emmanuel United Methodist Cemetery.
