  KEEFER
  
  Nellie S. Keefer, 87, of Berlin RD 1, died Aug. 4, 1994, at home.  Born
  Dec. 14, 1906 in Northampton Township.  Daughter of William W. and Ida
  (Mishler) Hartman.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Henry; brothers,
  Samuel and Leroy; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.  Survived by
  these children: Carl, married to the former Ruby Nedrow, Somerset RD 1;
  Mrs. Donald (Audrey) Twombly; Mrs. Paul (Grace) Berkey; Mrs. George
  (Elaine) Gumbert Jr.; Helen Zerfoss, all of Berlin; Mrs. Bobby (Mardell)
  Porter of Berlin Rd 4; 26 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren.  Sister of
  Irene Jones of Euclid, Ohio.  Graduate of California Normal School and
  taught in the Northampton Township Schools.  She was a member of Trinity
  United Church of Christ, Berlin and Berlin Fire Co. Auxiliary.  Family will
  receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Deaner Funeral Home,
  Berlin where service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday.  Rev. Carl W.
  Schwarm.  Interment Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.  Memorial Contributions may be
  given to: Trinity U.C.C. Berlin, Pa 15530.
