Keefer, 81, of Champion RD 1, died Dec. 2, 1980, in the Connellsville State General Hospital. She was born July 18, 1899, in Champion, daughter of the late William and Barbara (Gary) Cramer. She was a president of the Champion area for most of her life, and member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. She is survived by four sons: Raymond, at home; George, of Rockwood; Harold, of Melcroft; and Harry, of Connellsville; two daughters: Mrs. Charles (Sleda) Shaulis of Jones Mills; and Mrs. Kenneth (Evelyn) Reese of Champion; 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in addition to her parents, by husband, Samuel Keefer; daughter, Mildred; brother, John Cramer; five sisters: Mrs. Ellen Adams, Mrs. Fannie Pritts, Mrs. Amanda Miller, Mrs. Mary Etta Pritts, and Miss Susie Cramer; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends were received in the Clyde Brooks Funeral Home Inc., Rt. 711, Melcroft, where services were held with the Rev. Robert Blank officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
