  Robert Samuel Keidel, 81, of Berlin and Ocala, Fla. died Dec. 11, 2000 in
  Ocala.  Born May 22, 1919 in Hyndman, son of the late Charles and Nellie
  (Poorbaugh) Keidel.  Survived by his wife of 57 years the former Kathryn
  Fairchild and these daughters: Jean, married to Dock Williams, Newark,
  Del., and Shirley married to Bill Verbos, Carlisle.  Grandchildren: Brad
  Hepler, and Robert Hepler married to the former Kim Kenny and
  step-granddaughter Kyla, all of San Francisco, Calif.; Dirk Williams,
  Newark, Del., and Danielle (Williams) married to Lance Holmes, Columbia,
  S.C.  Brother of E. Jean Keidel and A. Fae Hetrick, both of Meyersdale
  RD.  A World War II Navy Veteran.  Retired electrical contractor and owner
  of Keidel Hardware and Electric, Berlin.  Member of Trinity United Church
  of Christ, Berlin, where he had served as Deacon and Elder.  Member of
  Berlin American Legion, Meyersdale Lodge 554 F. & A.M., and Harrisburg
  Consistory.  Former member of Berlin IOOF Lodge, and Berlin Brothersvalley
  School Board serving two years as president.  Family will receive friends
  from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where
  service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Rev. Charles Dunn and Rev. Robert
  Hoffman officiating.  Interment, Berlin IOOF Cemetery.  Masonic service
  will be held at 7 p.m. Friday.  Memorial contributions may be given to
  Trinity U.C.C., Berlin, Pa. 15530.
