Race St., Somerset, died Feb. 27, 1986, at his office building. Born July 5, 1928, in Jenner Township, son of Rebecca (Thomas) Keim, Hollsopple RD 1, and the late Clayton G. Keim. Survived by his wife, the former Shirley Louise Sanner; and these children: Jeffrey L., Midland, Texas; Mark D., Somerset RD 1; Mrs. William J. (Alice Rebecca) Kallmann, Somerset; Mrs. Blake L. (Marianne) Beeghly, Somerset; Eric J., Columbus, Ohio; Bradley D., Somerset; a grandson, Ryan Blake Beeghly. A brother of: Owen Glenn and Carman W., both of Hollsopple RD 1; Charles W., Davidsville; Mrs. Harold (Helen) Blough, Boswell RD; Mrs. Owen G. (Marian) Stevens, Hollsopple RD. A 1945 graduate Conemaugh Township High School, 1952 graduate Juniata College, 1956 graduate Dickinson School of Law, former trustee Juniata College. Korean War veteran. A member of the General Board of the Church of the Brethren. Former deacon Somerset Church of the Brethren. Board member Church of the Brethren Home, Windber. Member Lodge 358 F&AM. Senior partner of Keim, Bowman and Bell law firm. Had been first Somerset County public defender, former Somerset County district attorney. Past president of the Somerset Co. Bar Assn. and member Penna. Bar Assn. Former editor Somerset Legal Journal. Partner in Somerset Door and Column, shareholder Law & Finance Bldg., board member Somerset Branch U.S. National Bank, chief executive officer Somerset County Home Builders and Suppliers Assn., corporate secretary Somerset Newspapers Inc. Instrumental in organizing Somerset County Historical and Genealogical Society. The family will receive friends 3:30-9 p.m. Sunday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home. Memorial services will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. at the Somerset Church of the Brethren, the Rev. Roger L. Forty officiating.
