In 1876 he went to Southern Illinois, where he remained until 1880 when he moved to Carleton, Nebraska. On November 5, 1882, he was united in marriage to Sara J. Ward to which union were born four children. He is survived by his wife, Sara J. Keim; one brother, Harrison Keim, of Bruning, Neb.; one sister, Mrs. J. M. Bender of Imperial Neb.; two sons, George W., of Bloomington, Neb., and Harrison W., of Kearney, Neb.; one daughter, Amanda J., of Beaver City, Neb., and eleven grandchildren. One son, Hubert A., preceded him in death in infancy. Meyersdale Republican, September 25, 1930
