KEIM Belated news has reached The Republican of the death at Nampa, Idaho, last New Year's morning of William H. Keim, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard H. Keim of Nampa, due to heart disease. He had been ill since August 1st. He was a cattle buyer for H. H. Keim, Inc., meat packers of Nampa, and was a sterling citizen and good businessman. He is survived by his wife, a married daughter, two sons - Bruce, a radio technician in the Navy, and Silas Gilbert, a lieutenant in the Army - two grandchildren, his aged parents, two sisters and five brothers. He was a namesake nephew of William H. Keim of Elkins, W.Va., and like his ancestors for four generations, was a native of Elk Lick Township, Somerset County, Pennsylvania. Almost his entire life was spent in the West. He was 53 years old at the time of his death. Meyersdale Republican, February 3, 1944
