Keirn, 71, 526 Bedford St., Windber, died Sept. 23, 2006 at home. Born Dec. 21, 1934 in Windber, son of the late Harry W. and Bertha (Green) Keirn. Also preceded in death by sister Lois Armstrong. Survived by wife, former Barbara Hoffman , and these children: Debbie, wife of Ron Shoemaker, Johnstown, Terry, married to the former Rebecca Bimeal, and Thomas, married to the former Joan Lashinsky, both of Windber, and Timothy, married to the former Tess Parrish, Dillsburg; grandchildren: Tom and Diana Shoemaker, Jessica Kornoski, Tara Gordon, Holly, Matthew and Andrew Keirn; and great-grandchildren, Aaron, Aleksa, Caitlyn and Breanna. Brother of Myrna, wife of Joseph Rubal, Mentor, Ohio. Harry retired from Penn Machine, Johnstown. Former member of Windber Jaycees, past president of Windber United Churches and chairman of the CROP Walk committee. He was a recruiter for Cancer Relay For Life, former J.P in Paint Borough and had a great interest in genealogy. He was an avid fisherman, Pirates and Steelers fan, and a sign painter. Very active member of Scalp Level Mt. Zion Lutheran Church where service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. J. A. McCormick, officiating. Entombment Richland Cemetery Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 1 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 1 to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Graham Avenue, Windber.
