KEISTER John Charles Keister, 77, Jacksonville, Fla., died Saturday, July 20,1985, at his residence. Born in Oldtown, Md., he was a son of the late Charles Keister and Mary (Kitabaugh) Keister. He was employed as an electrician and also worked for the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad. He is survived by his widow, the former Viola Skidmore; three sons, John Keister, Plantation, Fla.; Donald Keister, Jacksonville, Fla.; Roy Keister, Tallahassee, Fla.; two daughters, Mrs. Jean Stephens, Meyersdale; Mrs. Shirley Kollegin, Homestead, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. Dora Crabtree, Oldtown, Md.; one brother, Russell Keister, Rockville, Md.; 22 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Friends were received a. the Sowers Funeral Home, Frostburg, Md., where services were conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. George L. Wehler officiating. Interment, Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers were Kenneth Pollack, Fred Keister, Samuel Keister, Ronald Keister, Roger Stephens, Royce Douty, Royce Crabtree and James Berry. The Republic, July 25, 1985 [K0211]
