Keller, 91, Somerset, died Jan. 9, 1983, in Somerset Community Hospital. Born Oct. 31, 1891, in Somerset, a son of the late Daniel E. and Ellen (Biesecker) Keller. Preceded in death by parents; one sister, Bessie; and one nephew, Fred Elliott. Lifelong and oldest member of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church of Somerset, oldest member of Somerset Volunteer Fire Department, and the Western Pennsylvania Firemen's Association. He was a WW I veteran, served overseas in the 28th Division Company H 112th Infantry, a life member of Somerset S.S. Crouse Post American Legion 181, life member of VFW post 554 Somerset, a retired farmer and dairyman. Survived by one niece, Mrs. Lois Elliott, Somerset; one great-niece and one great-nephew. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday (today) in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where service will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Carl Hull officiating. Interment, Union Cemetery, Somerset. Members of Somerset Volunteer Fire Department will conduct memorial services at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Daily American, January 11, 1983 [K0221]
