Keller, 92, of Jones Mills, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2001 at his home. He was born July 26, 1909 in Jones Mills a son of the late William and Lucinda Burner Keller. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Rhoda I. Kalp Keller, a brother Wilford Keller, and three sisters, Mae Kalp, Beulah Pritts, and Erma Friedline. Russell is survived by two daughters Geraldine Fligger and her husband, Emerson, and Arlene Brown and her husband Zane all of Acme RD 3; two sons Marvin Keller and his wife Charlotte, and Melvin Keller and his wife Shirley all of Jones Mills; six grandchildren, Lisa Ohler, and her husband Scott of Rockwood, Mark Brown and his wife Martha of Jones Mills, Leta Wynn and her husband Bryan of Acme RD 3, Ryan Lee Keller and Benjamin Edward Keller both of Jones Mills, and Darlene Layman and her husband John of Normalville; seven great-grandchildren, and three sisters, Luetta Montique of Jones Mills, Genevieve Witt of Donegal, and June Weyant of Clinton. Russell was a life-long resident of Jones Mills and worked as a self-employed saw mill operator and farmer. He was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church in Acme. He was a member of the Antique Automotive Club of America. Friends received from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Clyde Brooks Funeral Home Inc., Route 711, Melcroft, and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday the hour of service in the funeral home, with Rev. Don Judy and Rev. Paul C. Freidhof officiating. A committal service and interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Acme. Daily American, October 13, 2001 [K0236]
