Born May 8, 1923, in Youngstown, Ohio, he was the son of the late William J. and Margaret (Lynch) Kelley. Mr. Kelley is survived by his wife, the former Estella M. Belcher; and a son, William J. Kelley. Mr. Kelley was a carpenter for Local Union 230; and was a member of the union for 45 years. A veteran of the U.S. Army, World War II, Kelley joined in 1945, serving throughout Europe with the Military Police 667th. Visitation was held June 11 and June 12. Funeral services were scheduled to be held June 13 at St. Thomas A Becket Church. Interment, alongside his parents in Sts. Philip & James Cemetery, Meyersdale. The Republic, June 12, 1997 [K0254]
