  KELLY
  
  Fred W. Kelly, 68, of Garrett went to be with the Lord Dec. 31, 1998.  Born
  Nov. 4, 1930 in Brothersvalley Township, son of Charles and Florence
  (Hoover) Kelly.  Preceded in death by father and brothers Don and Shirl
  Kelly.  Survived by wife, Florence "Dolly" (Mitchell) Kelly of Garrett. 
  His passing ends a union of 47 years.  Also survived by mother, Florence of
  Garrett, and these children: Charles W. married to Mary Winkler of Garrett;
  Mrs. Kenneth (Carol) Long, Somerset; Fred married to Ilene Barkman of
  Shanksville; David married to Jodie Yoder, Rockwood; Mrs. Nathan (Sharon)
  Engleka, Garrett; Steven, married to DeAnna Ohler of Markleton; Barry
  married to Roberta Lehman, Acosta, and Mark married to Susan Romesberg,
  Garrett.  Also 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  Brother of
  Gene Kelly, Rockwood.  Attended Blackfield Union Sunday School for many
  years.  Member and dear friend of bluegrass gospel group "Friends in
  Christ."  Retired coal miner and construction worker where he was a member
  of union local 1058.  He was an avid hunter who loved being with his boys
  in the woods during deer season.  Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m.
  Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Miller Funeral Home,
  Rockwood, where funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Rev. Sam
  Coughenour officiating.  Interment, Rockwood IOOF Cemetery.
