Kelly, 81, of Somerset RD 5 died Jan. 13 in Somerset Community Hospital. He was born May 10, 1891, in Oak Ridge the son of the late Rev. Milton V. and Mary Elizabeth Gutherie Kelly. He was preceded in death by four brothers and six sisters. He is survived by his widow, the former Louisa E. Millhouse; children, Geraldine, Louise and Mr. Henry (Pauline) Pettitt, all of Somerset; Eugene of Akron, Ohio; and Donald of Mentor, Ohio; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was the brother of Mrs. Robert (Gladys) Meyers of Westover and Mrs. William (Idessa) Feathers of Johnstown. He was a member of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Somerset; a life-member of the National Mine Rescue Association; and a member of the Mine Rescue Veterans, Pittsburgh District. He was a retired safety inspector for Pittsburgh Consolidated Coal Company. Death ended a marriage of 60 years. Friends are being received in Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, Somerset, where services will be conducted Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. by the Rev. Carl R. Hull. Interment in Husband Cemetery. Daily American, 15 January 1973 [K0299]
