  ARTHUR W. KEMP
  
    Arthur W. (Rats) Kemp, 76, of Confluence, died Aug. 18, 1983 at home.
    He was born Feb. 19, 1907, at Bidwell, son of late Orville and Bertha
  (Burnworth) Kemp.
    He is survived by wife, Helen (Rolene) Kemp, and daughter, Diane
  Kronenburg of Arlington, Va.; also a brother, Clyde, of Confluence and
  three sisters, Mrs. Annie McClintock and Mrs. Helen Bower, both of
  Confluence; and Gertrude Shipley of Arnold.
    He was preceded in death by three brothers, Ira, Lawrence and Raymond. 
  He was a member of Ursina American Legion for 27 years.
    Friends were received at Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where services
  were conducted with the Rev. Gary Patterson officiating.  Interment, Jersey
  Cemetery.
