  CLYDE O. KEMP 
  
    Clyde O. Kemp, 78, Confluence, died Sept. 4, 1983, at Somerset Community
  Hospital.
    He was born May 9, 1985, in Bidwell, a son of Orville and Bertha
  (Burnworth) Kemp.
    He is survived by his wife, Celia (Wable) Kemp; three daughters: Nancy
  Lasure, Meyersdale RD 3; Faye Shaulils, Champion RD; and Janet O'Donnell,
  Meyersdale; a grandson, Jeffrey Bolden, at home; 18 grandchildren; and 7
  great-grandchildren; also three sisters: Annie McClintock, Confluence;
  Helen Bower, Confluence; and Gertrude Shipley, Arnold.
    He was preceded in death by his first wife, Violet Sterling; son, Clyde
  Jr.; four brothers; and one sister.
    Friends were received at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where
  funeral services were held with Dr. Arthur Gotjen officiating.  Interment,
  Jersey Cemetery.
