  Elayne B. Kemp, 70, 529 W. Garrett St., Somerset, formerly of Confluence,
  died Aug. 16, 1995, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Johnstown.  Born March 1,
  1925, in Confluence, daughter of the late Charles and Emily (Knight)
  Beggs.  Preceded in death by husband, Raymond; a brother, Walter, and
  sisters, Helen and Dorothy.  Survived by son, David, married to the former
  Carol Prince, and daughter, Rama, married to John Hay, both of Somerset; 3
  granddaughters, Gretchen and Tricia Kemp and Melissa Hay; sister, Martha
  Holt, Confluence, and a brother, Richard Beggs, Kutztown.  Member of
  Confluence United Methodist Church and Trinity Chapter 138, O.E.S.  Friends
  received from 7-9 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Humbert Funeral
  Home, Confluence, where service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, with
  Rev. Dr. Arthur J. Gotjen officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial
  Park.
