  MATTHEW J. KEMP
  
    Matthew J. Kemp, 76, of Meyersdale, died Oct. 3, 1975, at his home.  Born
  Dec. 9, 1898, in Meyersdale, he was a son of the late Richard and Eva
  (Breig) Kemp.
    Surviving are his wife, the former Mabel Secrest; four children, James of
  Kent, Wash.; John of Meyersdale; Jerry of Garrett; and Mrs. Wilbur (Joyce)
  Keife, of Richmond Heights, Ohio; also eleven grandchildren and three
  great-grandchildren.
    He was a former Meyersdale borough councilman and was a retired forest
  ranger for the Department of Forests and Waters.
    Requiem mass was conducted Monday morning in Sts. Phillip and James
  Catholic Church with Rev. Clark George officiating.  Interment in the
  church cemetery under the direction of Leckemby-Price Funeral Home.
