Kemp, 67, of Meyersdale, died March 9, 1987, at his home. Born March 15, 1919, in Cumberland, Md., a son of the late George and Alice (Graves) Kemp. Also preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Joseph. Survived by his wife, the former Virginia L. Stuver, and these children: Carol Ann Roth, Bowie, Md.; Robert J., Somerset; and James V., Annapolis, Md.; and two granddaughters. Retired Postal employee with 20 years service. Veteran of U.S. Army Air Corps, World War II. A member of B.P.O.E. Lodge #63, Cumberland, Md.; American Legion Post #112, Meyersdale; El Fidel Club, Cumberland; and a life-member, Meyersdale Vol. Fire Department. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale. Mass of Christian Burial will be said Thursday, 11 a.m., at Sts.
